About The Event
Five years ago, Michelle Grim walked out of a yoga nidra class pain free after 2 years of chronic pain. What happened in that class? The following three years of study helped her better understand not only that, but also gain a deep respect for the capacity for healing offered by our own minds and bodies. In this workshop, expect to learn about our complex nervous system and the many ways it governs our pain experience, the mind body connection, and why yoga can be such a powerful tool for healing persistent pain through all aspects of being. The workshop will include education about the pain system in addition to practice and reflection, and is meant for anyone experiencing the effects of persistent pain, either in their own body, in their loved ones, or clients or patients.
